Mandlay Rentals wanted to provide some answers to "Frequently Asked Questions"
on this page, so that it may save you some time.


Q: Do I need to make a deposit to secure my booking?

A: YES! We require a 25% deposit off of the total rental with the balance being due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Payments can be made by credit card, cash, money order or personal check. Personal checks will not be accepted, however, less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival.


Q: What if I need to cancel?

A: If you contact us and cancel no later than 60 days prior to your arrival, we will refund your deposit in full. No cancellations or refunds will be allowed past the 60 day mark as re-renting the unit is much more difficult. No monies will be refunded for "no-shows", early checkouts or evicitons.


Q: Where and when do we check in?

A: After we receive your final payment, and you are paid in full, we will mail you a final confirmation that will have your information for checking into the unit. We will provide you with area information, a map to our office as well as to your unit.
Check-in is normally at 3:00 PM and Check-out is 10:00 AM. If there is no check out on the day you're arriving, we may be more flexible on the time. Likewise, on the day you are departing. Extra fees (half day charge) may be applicable depending on how late you need to stay on your departure day.


Q: Are all of the properties privately owned?

A: All of the units on RentalsClearwaterBeach.com are individually owned. We ask that all guests treat their unit as they would their own home.


Q: What about pets?

A: At this time, unfortunately, we have no units that accept pets. If we do aquire some units that will take your pet, it would be listed within the property description.


Q: Is there a security deposit?

A: Yes, we must charge a refundable security deposit to protect the owner in the event of damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning upon departure, etc.
The fees for the security depsoits are $250 for efficiencies/studios/1 Bedroom units, and $500 for 2 bedroom units and up. We will inspect the units upon your departure and your security deposit will be refunded withing 10-14 days. If using a credit card for the deposit, it will be credited to the same card that was used. 
This is required to assure the units are kept up for each guest, and to avoid the possiblity of raising the rental amount due to losses/damages.


Q: Are there any other fees and or charges?

A: The only charges other than the rental fee, are 12% Tax (Florida sales/tourism tax), and the cleaning fee, which varies by the size of the unit, but is listed clearly when booking the unit.


Q: Are there any housekeeping services available?

Our units do not include maid/housekeeping service. If it is necessary during your stay, we may be able to put you in contact with someone that can provide this for a cost. Most of our units have a washer and dryer on the premises or inside of the unit, for the convenience of the guests.
